Smooth the surface mesh.

  • mesh: SurfaceMesh of interest

  • [in] maxIter: Maximum number of iterations to run

  • [in] preserveRidges: Whether or not to preserve ridges

  • [in] rings: Number of neighborhood rings to consider for LST

  • [in] verbose: Print additional information
